Man Chan - Founder, Editor-in-chief

 

 

 

 

Man Chan, the founder of MEMO Workshop and Tin Shui Wai Kai Fong Society, graduated from University of Toronto with a bachelor degree of Social Science. Man is a talented business strategist that he has demonstrated his skills by turning a franchised Japanese cosmetics retail shop to a blooming cosmetics retail chain in Hong Kong within only a year. Besides, he also set up Credit Ratings Company Limited, which was successfully sold to a South America enterprise with Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s referral. His strong strategically thinking and excellent executional skills have established the concrete foundations of his future development. Now, Man has extended his expertise into cultural-driven areas, which includes large-scale events such as Hong Kong International Film Festival, anti-drug concerts and community carnivals. With his solid experience in photography, which was learnt from Alain Yip Photography Tutors (AYPT), he becomes an editor-in-chief of a popular photography magazine, ‘MEMO’, which is distributed in Southeast Asia. Additionally, Man is also a lecturer of the Open University of Hong Kong and Employees Retraining Board in Hong Kong.

Babie Li - PR Director

 

 

Babie Li, a PR Director of MEMO Plus Production, has over 10 years of solid experience in management, marketing and media field. In early year, she worked as a senior project executive at a HK leading PR & Marketing Company and an administrative manager in a famous catering event company. With strong communication skill, good organization ability and creativity, Babie has furthered her career as a DJ and has been active in the foreground emcee work since 2007. Being worked in both field of PR and media, Babie has built a close and strong relationship with media. For that, she is familiar with media’s operation and its strategies, being capable of creating a unique news angles to attract media’s attention. She has also developed an excellent connection with different kinds of fields and associations as she is a member of Junior Chamber International (JCI) and Tin Shui Wai Kai Fong Society. Additionally, Babie is excelled in developing media tools and communications that she has cooperated with several renowned organizations such as Hong Kong Tourism Board, Youth.gov.hk, Hong Kong Design Centre, the Junior Chamber International (JCI), Hospital Authority, HKICPA, the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong (CMA) etc.  

Lee Wai Fun, Stella - Professional Adviser

Ms. Stella Lee (Ms. Lee) graduated with Bachelor of Business Administration from Queen’s University of Brighton. From her youth, Ms. Lee had developed a profound interest in art. She studied art and fashion design in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, The First Institute of Art and Design and the Ling’s Fashion Evening Institute. In 1990, she won the Runners-up prize in Hong Kong’s Fashion Design competition. Thereafter, she established a fashion boutique with her own brand and line of fashion products. She also became agent of a Korean brand zzb which was warmly received both in Hong Kong and China. Her foresight in undertaking a Korean brand reflected well her vision in fashion trend towards Korean.

Subsequently in order to take up a new challenge onto a higher plateau, Ms. Lee embarked on an entirely new field-financial service. With tenacity and determination she has within 10 years achieved the corporate rank of President of Success Wealth Management Limited. Concurrently Ms. Lee is frequently invited to be a guest speaker on television and a writer in investment columns of economic dailies.

Ms. Lee serves the community in various capacities. Apart from being an Executive Committee Member of The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong, Ms. Lee is a Technical Advisor of Employees Retraining Board (Financial Services). Ms. Lee brings with her years of experience from the commercial field and provided ERB valuable contribution from the financial sector.

Other than work and community service, Ms. Lee is deeply committed to the promotion of education. She has been appointed as Council Member of The Hong Kong Institute of Education. Furthermore, she is the manager of Yan Ping Ind. & Comm. Ass. Lee Lim Ming College, CMA Secondary School, Kowloon City Baptist Church Hay Nien (Yan Ping) Primary School, and also Yan Ping Ind. & Comm. Ass. San Lian School in China.   

Echo Xie - Managing Director of Greater China

 

 

Ms. Echo Xie, Managing Director of MEMO in Greater China, has over 10 years of public relations and marketing experience. she has assisted numerous companies expand their business in China. She is specialize in branding, event organizing, digital marketing and media relations, etc.
Echo holds Master’s degree of Hong Kong Baptist University, major in media management, and Bachelor’s degree majoring in e-commerce from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.

 

Charlotte Lam - Event Consultant

Ms. Charlotte Lam holds an unique degree in Creative Events, Design and Production from the University of Kent, U.K.  She started of her career working at a renown wedding planning company where she gained up close and personal event managing skills.

Charlotte later worked in a commercial focus PR agency for years. During her time there, she had previously acted in event and brand management for names including Louis Vuitton, Lanvin, Maxfactor, DKSH (Maurice Lacroix, Graham London, Louis Erard, Swiss Auction), Bedat & Co., Hong Kong Institute of Architect, Hong Kong Professional Coffee Association, TTLHK Though the Lens,  Pernod Ricard (Jacob’s Creek, Wyndham Estate, Brancott Estate, Absolut Vodka), Carlsberg, Guardforce, Tourism Malaysia, Tourism Spain & many more different kinds of art related events and parties.

Therefore, Charlotte not only has the capabilities for event management but also has the ability to advise on creative solutions - making noises for maximising marketing outcome.  Her passion, hard work, and dedication was highly acclaimed by her clients, and led to great results in the projects she has worked on.

Hilary Chu - Copywriter

 

 

Hilary worked as a research assistant in the Department of Chinese and Bilingual Studies at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She conducted interviews with corporate communications practitioners of renowned corporations in Hong Kong. Her leadership skills, copywriting skills and creativity were fully demonstrated in the collaboration between HKPU and MTR corporations for the courtesy campaign 2013. Her working experience of assisting in research projects on the genre of corporate communication in Hong Kong, and her education background gives her a sophisticated grasp on the aspect of corporate communication.

 

Hilary recently graduated from University of Birmingham with a Master degree in Critical Discourse, Culture and Communications. Her expertise ranges from media literacy, intercultural communication to social and multimodal aspects of communication. As a multi-lingual professional, Hilary is equally adept at communicating with Chinese and English media. She also specialises in the copywriting of creative and relevant editorial publicity. 

 

Hilary will responsible on media networking and copywriting in MEMO.
